The GE Protimeter Surveymaster offers 2 different ways to track the moisture content of carpet and pads: non-invasive radio frequencies and penetrating pins. Use the Surveymaster to tell sub-surface from surface dampness. This is absolutely essential knowledge when diagnosing the extent and root cause of a moisture issue.

Measure Mode
Stabs material with pin electrodes to take scientifically precise readings of moisture content in wood. The GE Protimeter Surveymaster also measures water spread in many other materials.

Search Mode
Picks up moisture levels without making costly and time consuming holes in materials. The Surveymaster uses non-invasive radio frequencies to look for nasty moisture on the back of surfaces like vinyl flooring and ceramic tile floors.
